Hi Witold,

I've attached the startup messages.  I confused 9.10.4
and 9.9.9 somewhat, but the observation holds that 9.9.9
is running one thread under SUID when it should be running
two threads.

Possibly 9.10.4 works correctly, but I'm not certain.
I started with 9.10 and it quickly failed with a
SEGV trap do I switched to 9.9.9.  I'm not sure exactly
when I turned on the SUID named, but it is definitely
in effect for 9.9.9b2 where only one thread is observed.
