We did send a query to Xapian to find out how delighted they'd be to move theirs to /usr/sbin or /usr/share/xapian, and regrettably (though not unexpectedly) the answer was "not very". So I'm renaming the tool to "delv"; if there are any existing uses of that name, google hasn't told me about it. If you know of one I missed, please let me know.
