FWIW, http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/Contents-amd64.gz is the current manifest of files delivered by Debian (for unstable on amd64 -- similar names for other releases and architectures), with filename and the package(s) that deliver the file. Policy then defines whether or not the collisions are bugs, or expected. lamont
