Hi,
When the DLZ engines were added to the BIND9 9.4 port in the FreeBSD
ports tree in 2009 (Yes, this is archeology time), enabling the
dlz-mysql engine in the port forced threads to be disabled.
I was continuing cleaning up the ports Makefiles (amazing how three
years after taking over, I still find sediments I don't understand) and
I stumbled upon it...
This may have been important at the time, but I am wondering if it still
is...
Anyway, if you have an idea about why, I would love to know more. (Also,
if you still have no idea why this was done after pondering about it,
for, say, 10 minutes, feel free to stop thinking and tell me you don't know)
